I brought my Chevy here back in October 2025 they held my car for six months. I had to call for them to give me any updates. I work across the street at Burger King and I would consistently see my car in Burger King parking lot not being touched nor worked on they had gave you my car back after five months. I had it for two weeks max and it was doing the same problem. It was doing whenever I dropped it off but worse. My car wouldn’t shift past second gear then when I tried to tell them about it, they told me they did not want to work on it. I paid 2600 Dollars for a new transmission and the transmission was never the problem They tried to not give me any money back and a broken car back Until I had came up with a solution To get my money back or at least half I was very considerate After the talk with them, they decided for me to sell my car to them for all of my money back Worst mechanics ever worst shop ever unorganized and dirty inside and they guess on your car never go here!!!!!!!

After an exhaustive search finding no interest, Jim and Jim came through with a replacement transmission for my Volvo XC 70. Great work!

I found myself with the need to have my car's transmission replaced within a week. I checked with several other shops and I was advised that they couldn't even diagnose the problem for at least a week. I contacted Budget Transmission and they were able to diagnose and replace the transmission within my time restriction. They were very friendly and they went above my expections to keep me informed. Clearly they were extremely busy, but they recognized my situation and accommodated my needs. I would highly recommend them.

I was very pleased. My mechanic, who does not like working on transmissions, recommended me to budget transmissions. They have been in business for over 30 plus years, which is a good sign. And their lot was packed with cars to fix, another good sign. The owners are both named Jim, so sometimes it gets confusing at times which one you were talking too. However , they are both nice. They had my car up and running in 3 days. I was shocked because they had so many cars before me. I would highly recommend!!

I had a horrible experience with this shop first they told me it would take about 2weeks turned out they had my car for a month when i got my car back there was damage to the front that they don’t know how it happened but I’m guessing it was do to the no storage space for cars and pulled it to close to another car my opinion i got a rebuilt transmission i payed 4700$ for my car Cadillac that road so smooth and noiseless now sounds like a motorcycle so since i have gotten my car back all different things seem to be wrong there damage to my screen on my dash witch they did electrical work on my mirrors on the driver side does not move in or out with out u doing it with your had my floor lights are now very dim and blurry looking i went back to them 2x to get help with the engine light coming back on or some kind of understanding after spending almost $5000 and when i tell you no help just rude now and i am so upset i even spent my money with this shop i do not recommend them personally! They make it sound good on the phone but honestly doest care just want your money !
